The HEX-NET Pro WiFi Interface communicates with V-CD/S by wireless WiFi or by wired USB, turning a Windows® PC into a factory level diagnostic tool for VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda automobiles. Also, at no additional cost, embedded in the HEX-NET is our new V-CD/S-Mobile® software which enables most smart devices with WiFi and a web browser to perform V-CD/S like diagnostics on non-PC devices.

System Requirements:

A Windows PC is required for Setup and Updates (even if you will use V/CD-S-Mobile via a web browser on other than a PC).  If you do not own a Windows PC, please have a plan for access to one.
Before you purchase this product, please read the HEX-NET FAQ and the V/CD-S-Mobile FAQ so that you understand this product, what's required to use it, and what its limitations are.  We will not be amused if you buy it and then complain that you weren't aware of something that's in those FAQs!
Communications Interfaces
Ro-ss-Te-ch can supply two different Interfaces (the hardware needed to connect a PC to your car).
Both of our current interfaces are universal on the car-side, supporting all VW/Audi Group passenger cars from 1996 to current, including k-line and CAN-Bus diagnostics. Both will also work with many 1990-1995 (OBD-I) cars, but these may require the optional "2x2"cabling adapter.
Both interfaces can be plugged into any standard USB port on a PC. However the HEX-NET can also be used with V/-CD/S wirelessly via WiFi, and it gives you access to V/CD-S-Mobile, while the HEX-V2 is strictly for use with V/CD-S on a Windows PC via USB.
This generation of interfaces is much faster on modern, CAN-based cars than any of our now discontinued legacy interfaces.
